Delete your account in the app
- Open RentTruth and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Account, then scroll to Settings.
- Choose Delete Account, review the disclosure, and confirm.
What happens next
- Your access ends immediately and active property-tracking subscriptions are canceled.
- Your profile, verification documents, device tokens, saved and tracked properties, notifications, messages, reviews, questions, answers, votes, and other user content are deleted or anonymized.
- Deletion is completed as soon as practical and no later than 30 days after a valid request.
- Limited payment, fraud, tax, or dispute records may be retained when legally necessary with user identifiers removed where feasible. A private security tombstone retains the internal account identifier needed to deny stale access.
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
If you cannot access the app
If you cannot sign in, use info@renttruth.app to initiate an account-deletion request outside the app. We will verify account ownership before acting and complete a valid request within 30 days. Do not email identity or tenancy documents unless support gives you a secure upload instruction.
If you used Sign in with Apple, also remove RentTruth in your Apple ID settings under Sign-In & Security > Sign in with Apple after submitting deletion.
Delete specific data
You may also contact info@renttruth.app with a privacy request. Some information may already be available to edit or remove in the app. See the Privacy Policy for retention details.
